After a short break i'm back looking into my Wwise implementation project. This post was originally going to be about my plan to move the project to a first person perspective however just before sitting down to write this I came across a video of someone using a variation of the same unreal template to make Wwise implementation demo. Seeing how good the demo can look when completed to a high standard has made me more determined to stick at it. The video will also serve as a good point of reference and guide for overcoming obstacles.

It can sometimes feel disheartening to see that an idea you have has already been realised to a high quality. It gives you a very clear standard to strive for. In this case it is a very high standard with a larger scope than I had in mind. I think if i'm going to be happy with my project it will have to be at the same quality as this at minimum. I know I am capable of it, it is just a matter of putting the work in.

My plan now is to go back through the demo that I have and ensure I have a sound implementation plan for all elements. I imagine I will also need to do a fair bit of research into Unreal blueprints so I have a better idea of how the audio assets need to be created. I did expect id be doing a lot of learning as part of this project it turns out the scope will just be a little bigger. Time will tell exactly how big.
