Some Studio Privacy

With my 28th birthday coming up next week, I thought id use some annual leave to spend some time with the family and continuing to work on the studio. Including splashing out on some blinds so I can finally work in there at night without feeling like i'm being watched. I have put even more shelving up in the past week, the room is starting to get that cluttered but tidy vibe which I really like. I want to be able to display as many cool creative things as I can in there and shelves are the best way to go for that. The place is also tidy enough to get a picture! The whole environment is starting to motivate the creative process.
Speaking of the creative process, I sent out another demo and guide track for "Anywhere" this week. Sena was having some trouble lining up her vocals so hopefully the more completed version will help her out. The project still feels a little while off being complete bit still making steady progress. I think the main issue i'm having with it right now is that I want to include backing vocals but I feel like I need the main vocals back first to fit them in. I guess the one down side of working with people online is it can be difficult to collaborate in real time. Maybe the best course of action would be to work over a video call, that would defiantly be a new one for me. Either way I think the progress being made is good as long as it keeps going. Maybe in the next few weeks we will have some good recordings together and if i'm not to busy installing selves and blinds ill be able to mix them.
