House Renovations & Rehearsals

Its the hottest summer of my lifetime, and we have decided to have some major house renovations done. This means half of the house is now in storage in my studio. Needless to say it has been a slower month in the creative department.

I have however been looking to get back involved with live music stuff again. I have some rehearsals planned with some people I know are pretty active in local live music. While it isn't the kind of music I normally perform I see it as a good opportunity to network. I feel like there might be some space for someone like me who is more knowledgeable about the whole production side of things. The best outcome would be a invitation to pick up some work in sound engineering or live gig recording. At the end of the day I wont know if I don't try. With the weather staring to cool down I feel like its time to move on to new things.
