Its been a slow reboot since Christmas and new year. With everything that goes on during that time I think hardly had the chance to step in the studio. In fact it actually ended up becoming the hiding spot for presents making it almost off limits during the day. It is what I expected after all and it was nice to focus on family time for a bit. Now we are 8 days into the new year and iv got my sleep schedule back on track, i'm up early enough to make this post.

I feel like I should start talking about my goals for this year but honestly they don't stray too far from what I was working on last year. The Wwise project in still in motion and id like to get that finished sooner rather tan later. I also have a couple of tracks I want to finish including the collaboration i'm working on and a follow up the the "No Clip" track I relaced early last year. As always, the studio needs more work. I think that is on of the bigger ones for this year. I want a space I am really proud of, I want it to really feel like a space where creativity can be realized. Right now there is a lot of things without a home and the actual "studio" part of the studio feels almost like an after thought. My priority is to get plenty of shelving installed to make some space, move the Mac and speakers back onto the main desk and clear out the corner so it can be come the recording space. All of that will make ethe biggest difference. Its just a matter of acquiring the shelving and acoustic treatment for the recording corner. Right now my best friend is Facebook marketplace for this kind of stuff. Its safe to say after Christmas I have a limited budget.

I think this is all stuff I can get done this year if I put my head to it. With the right studio space to hand I will only enjoy the process even more. I always find myself feeling like I haven't quite done enough towards my creative passions however the joy I get from the process hasn't been lost. Just writing this is building that motivation inside me. I intend to keep that motivation up through 2026.

Hers to another year of creativity and creation.
